  • Nick is the founder and CEO of Intelli-Call.
    He has a Finance background and worked in senior financial and commercial Management roles for Mars Confectionery, ASDA and Barclays Bank. In 1997 he became Group Finance Director of Systems Union (a £70m turnover global software company) and since then has worked in the technology sector. Prior to Intelli-Call his last role was as CEO of the internet exchange business Global Freight Exchange. He left GF-X in September 2002 and has devoted his time since then on researching the mobile applications space generally and on developing Intelli-Call. Nick has been working on developing Intelli-Call and in the mobile services space generally since 2003. He is an INSEAD MBA.

  • Martin Gray is a director of Intelli-Call. He has extensive experience in the telecoms sector and previously held positions at Marconi, British Telecom, Mercury Communications and Hong Kong Telecom. In 1995 he joined the newly established Cable & Wireless wholesale group, created to capitalize on international facilities liberalization, where he held senior market development, sales management and strategy roles, helping take the business to a turnover in excess of £1Bn. Recognising the opportunities in the emerging telecom commodity bandwidth market, he championed the development of a trading and risk management capability in C&W, focusing on trading voice, data and bandwidth commodities.

    Building on the success in applying trading and risk management techniques, Martin moved into the Global Enterprise channel to become SVP, Financial Markets, leading the creation and implementation of Financial Markets sector propositions.

    From 2003 he has worked as an independent consultant in the areas of organisation design, strategy, traffic trading, VoIP service development and project implementation. Martin holds degrees from the universities of Sheffield, Southampton and Surrey

  • Graham is a senior Telecoms Executive.
    In 1993 he joined Esprit Telecom, which was one of the first breed of alternative carriers offering cost effective telephony solutions to the business marketplace. At the time of initial employment, Esprit was a start-up operation without VC funding. Graham's task was to build the UK operation from scratch with full responsibility for all aspects of the UK business. As Managing Director of the UK, Graham grew the business to approx £40m annualised revenue employing 170 employees.

    In March 1999 GTS purchased the Esprit Telecom Group for c.US$850m. Subsequently in June 2002, the UK business of Ventelo Ltd (previously Esprit Telecom) was acquired by the Eurocall Group. Following the successful integration of Ventelo into the Eurocall Group, Graham left the company in 2003. Currently Graham is a self-employed consultant/interim manager and works as Managing Director for Rol, a web services company focusing on the local Government sector.

  • Roy has worked in the European venture capital industry since 1992 and is a Director at Amadeus Capital Partners Ltd focused on investments in telecommunications and services.
    He was previously managing partner of DB Capital Venture Partners, the venture capital arm of Deutsche Bank in Europe. He was a director of Providence Equity Partners in London and prior to that, he served as Chief Financial Officer for Esprit Telecom Group Plc and took the company through venture capital funding, its IPO, and subsequent sale to GTS in 1998. Roy also served with Apax Partners, Security Pacific Hoare Govett and started his career at McKinsey & Company Inc. Roy received an MBA from INSEAD. He is currently a non-executive director of Axon PLC.

  • Curtis is an entrepreneur and technology/software inventor and developer.
    He is one of the UK's first successful Internet entrepreneurs having founded the online CD reseller "CD Direct" in 1994 and negotiated a successful sale to the De Agaostini group for a 7-figure sum three years later. Curtis's career encompasses the start of the IT industry and he has formed and been involved with 5 successful technology start-ups during that time. In 2002, Curtis founded IM Computing Ltd, a company that is dedicated to helping companies deal with the exploding area of Instant Messaging use. IM Computing Ltd was sold to Gresham Computers Ltd in 2005.

  • Quentin is a corporate finance lawyer with significant knowledge of the Technology sector.
    He is an experienced senior corporate finance and commercial lawyer, and a College of Law trained and qualified mediator. Quentin has in excess of fifteen years practical deal experience. As a senior partner at Berwin Leighton Paisner (a major City law firm) he was until 2002 head of the team advising technology businesses on corporate finance transactions when he left to establish the legal consultancy QCM Partners. He has a strong track record of founding new businesses, including Eurovestech PLC, a successful quoted investment fund and beprofessional a collaborative venture between Berwin Leighton Paisner and Deloitte, the international accountancy firm. He also lectures on optimising legal efficiency at Cranfield School of Management Enterprise and CASS Business School in the City of London and is widely published.

  • David is a Senior Executive with over 25 years experience at Director & VP Level in Human Resource Management, Commercial Management, Project Management and Research and Development Management for established Global and start-up companies in the eCommerce, Internet and Mobile Telecommunications sectors.
    A Chartered Engineer with 18 years experience in R&D Software Development and 5 years as a Human Resource Director - AT&T/Lucent UK and Human Resource Business Partner/Director for the start up of Lucent Technologies Mobile Infrastructure business unit. In September 2002, David co-founded started Move2Mobile, a business accelerator/consultancy to businesses looking to enter the mobile space. Move2Mobile and David in particular have been providing input to Intelli-Call since its inception.
